Escape Excursions offers private parties the opportunity to visit any of the 21 secluded Apostle Islands. Once there, you can hop into a kayak provided by Escape Excursions to explore the stunning sea caves and shorelines, or you may choose to dock and discover the islands on foot. With over 700 square miles of national lakeshore, the possibilities are endless—it would take a lifetime to experience everything the area has to offer.

ADVENTURE AWAITS: POWER BOAT OUT 22 miles, THEN KAYAK TO EXPLORE DEVILS ISLAND SEA CAVES

Visit Devils Island and see the most beautiful sea caves the Apostle Islands has to offer, traveling by power boat through historic Apostle Islands on your way, then board kayaks and explore the beautiful sea caves. If you want you can opt out of kayaking and enjoy the sea caves from the comfort of the boat, leaving extra time for other island exploring. This trip is by far the most adventures and popular tour.

You will be boarding a very comfortable 30 foot yacht with Bimini and front enclosure for comfort from the wind.

Bring food and beverages of your choice. This is a 4 hour trip, $600 for 1or 2 people and $150 for any additional people up to a total of 6, Kayaking included weather permitting. If not kayaking $50 for each additional person.

Extend any trips for an extra $150 an hour.

Kayaking trips are water temperature dependent and are usually best from June 20 - September 20. All kayaking trips are near shore only and the power boat is always nearby.

Madeline Island pick ups and drop offs $150 added to the trip.

There are more than 50 miles of maintained hiking trails on the islands with so much diverse beauty.

Explore historic light houses, abandoned quarries, scenic overlooks and the most beautiful beaches you'll ever see!

All of the trips can be modified to a longer trip for Grillin and Chillin or just hanging out for an additional $150 an hour.

Stockton Island Hike 3 hour tour

We dock at Presque Isle bay then take Julian Bay Trial 0.5 miles to beautiful Julian bay where you will see a pristine beach and an ancient volt line more than 1 million years old. You can choose to take the Anderson point trial back for a more rigorous hike, 1.4 miles about 50 minutes.

$500 for 1 to 2 people and $50 for each additional person.

Raspberry Island Light house tour and Hike. 4 hour tour

Sandspit trail 0.75 miles

You'll be captivated by a stunning lighthouse built during President Lincoln's era, along with the keeper's grounds featuring charming outbuildings. Stroll along the sandspit trail, leading you to a breathtaking sandy beaches that invites you to relax and soak in the beauty of the surroundings.

Otter Island Hike 4 hour tour

Rocky Island tour 4 hours

Rocky Island features a stunning sandy spit on one side, while a brief hike leads you across the island to a breathtaking overlook. From this vantage point, you can admire Bear Island, Devils Island, and, in the far distance, the picturesque north shore of Minnesota. On any Escape Excursions trip, we provide a grill; you bring the meat, and we'll supply the heat!

Apostle Island Water Taxi

With over fifty miles of hiking you can explore any of the islands on your own. 19 of the 21 islands have reservable camp sites. Permits are required and it is a small fee. See Apostle National Lake Shore for more info. Keep in mind there is little to no cell phone service out there. A portable marine ban radio to bring with is recommended.

This one is closest to town and on the water however there is no real water access.

Camping on Madeline island is the best! its like being at a Multi million dollar beach resort with out the resort! the beach here is one of the best the islands have to offer.

as for spending the night on an island that is not Madeline, Its hard to say what one is best because they all are pretty great! you could go to the Apostle Island National Lake shore site https://www.nps.gov/apis/planyourvisit/camping.htm They only open registration up 30 days prior to the date you want to start your camping.
